Tear gas has this afternoon rocked the Soroti City East division as police dispersed an angry mob that threatened to burn down Jozan nursery and primary school.
Early this morning, the police deployment at the school premises for investigations allegedly guided by one of the suspects sparked curiosity of the angry locals and attracted them to surround the school.
As they pelted stones inside the school, police in patrol retaliated by firing teargas to disperse crowds.
