The constituents are already on high gear of demand calling for Rodney to quickly move round the constituency as the majority demand to bond and rub shoulders with the person whom they believe is now a divine chosen liberator of the city.
Rodney Mukula, a man with a legal background, development oriented and publicly a known enemy of garbage is regarded by many opinion leaders as the final solution to the stretching problems of soroti city East.
His father Capt. George Michael Mukula, having led soroti Municipality then, to the ranks of the cleanest city in east and central Africa for seven years consecutively, the locals just like Rodney himself now believe the time is ripe to return soroti city to the glory days under the leadership of Rodney Mukula.
It should be noted that despite harboring intentions to revive the glory of soroti city for a long time, Rodney pronounced his intention on Sunday 9th/ February 2025 during the 40th anniversary of deliverance church in Soroti city where he had gone to represent the speaker of parliament Anita Annet among as the chief guest.
